Can PURE Friendship exist between a guy and a girl?

Yes!that's the question i thinking recently...
ok,when i was laying on the bed,wanna take out my phone
find someone to sms to due to too boring..
suddenly one question pop-up to my mind:
can girls and guys maintain a truly platonic relationship over the years?
wait,let me ask wat is the definition of best fren?
1.it's the fren that you can count on
2.they are always there when you are down
actually,whether o not guys and girls can be just best frens are depends to individual...
perhaps guys and girls is it can only just be best fren depends:
on how the relationship started,
on whether there is any sort of attraction involved,and

on the personalities of the individuals.

girls that always intervene in my life at hometown...

for me:
they are my best fren for now and always...
so it is possible to be best fren between them and me...*opposite sex*
why?
1.our relationship was started with fren...*heart without fast beating*
2.they dun have any attraction to me...*to me only!!sorry JUN*
3.and thanks for them...they are always a good companion no matter you are down or high...
they are those i can count on.we share every sweetness and bitterness together...

btw,there are some rules for a successful girl-guy friendship:
1.don't cross the line of friendship please*important*
2.if someone fall for you,dun take advantage of those feelings.*you may hurt him/her badly*
3.don't view your fren as sexual object*even imagination of some act also prohibited!!!*
4.don't ever take your bestie for granted
5.lastly,HANDS-OFF...\!!

so,wat say you guys?

in short,we must appreciate every bestie we have right now...
opposite sex doesnt mean need to be love partner...
if you have opposite sex's fren that have many things to share with,
i advise dun take further step to crosss the best fren line...
most probably,you will lose a best fren that can talking non-stop if you failed to grab her heart...
